Under what circumstance we are not free?

A man cannot act freely, if his action is causally determined. We have a assumption that freedom is contrasted with causality. A person is free and sometimes he is not free when the choices are constrained by something or some other person.

An instance, I am compelled by another person to do what he wants. It is not required that the other person hypnotized me, it is enough that he induce me to do what he wants by making it clear to me that, if I do not, he will bring about some situation that regard as more undesirable.
